If he truly was the Messiah like some folks think wouldn't it make sense to include his whole life. There are many other instances of lesser figures in the bible where they cover the entire line of this guy begat that guy. Take off your blinders please

Read the gospels again and tell me how much of his life is covered. It covers the time around his death which was about a year, his birth, and when he was 12 thats it

then perhaps the bible should have been clear about his life if it is accurate.

Not a single one of you can prove he wasn't gay----the bible is silent in this matter.

Why is this question insulting? Being gay isn't a sin people God loves all unless you twist his words the way you want them.

i cannot understand these people (the answerers) and they make me sick...being gay is nothing wrong, it is not an insult...i dont know if jesus was gay or what but whether he was or he was not it wouldnt change a thing...i think it is enough of those stupid prejudices. In the bible it doesnt say a thing about jesus sexuality so dont assume he was hetero, gay, bi or trasgendered, if he existed he was soemone and that is all...it is so sad to see how limited and close minded people are

Not funny. Are there not parts of your life that are just ,everyday stuff? And back then they traveled by donkey or on foot.So it would make sense that a goodlie part of his live wouldn't be on record.Try as all of you might. You are just kidding yourself by thinking you will change a persons religious belief. It gives me life as much as the air I breath. And it is a part of every human .You were born with it.That is the reason you fight it so much.If most didn't believe in the Bible why do they try to prove it untrue? You have to believe something before you take on that task.Think about it.And by the way .You are one of the reasons R&S is getting so bad.Grow up !

Nope. You'd be not "presuming" but ***-u-me ing. You may never claim for a historical figure what you cannot prove.

That said, I can prove that the Mosaic Law, which Jesus assiduously kept, specifically forbids homosexuality. Therefore, Jesus never did anything homosexual. Q.E.D. If you want to claim some famous person to join your club, well, the Mormons even baptized Adolf Hitler into their cult. That's how much your claims are worth.

It'd be awesome if he was. That'd show all these self-righteous nutbags a thing or two.

And anyway, many answerers here presume that to be gay automatically means to be sinful, that is, to have same-sex intercourse. To be gay means one is attracted to a person of their own sex. One can be gay and never act upon those feelings, thus not committing any sins.

Regardless, there are non-cannonical gospels that say Jesus was either very close with, or married to, Mary Magdaline. Chances are slim any of us will get the satisfaction of proving Jesus wasn't straight.

I'm sorry? Excuse me? Where in the world would THAT come from? It covers more than a small fraction of His life. It covers the biggest part of His life...have you read the Bible or are you just going on what the media and the other kids on the playground are telling you.......

sorry but thats just dumb

the bible is not Jesus's biography!!!
every one seems to think that it is. it includes the important parts of Jesus' life. not all of it.

and dont jump to conclusions without having obtianed all evidence.

your question could very well insult Christians!

and NO Jesus was NOT gay!!

God bless!
Jesus loves you!

Why would anyone presume anything about anyone?

Should we now presume anyone we know little about is gay? Or straight? A thief? Royalty? Or whatever we think they should or could be? To think in this way is absolutely illogical and frankly, dumb.

ummmmmmmm
that doesn't even make sense.
What does a short biography have to do with being gay?
