this summer i'm planning to redo my room. i'm a teenaged girl and i like bright happy colors. i also like sparkly things..
my room is boring know and the bedspread and curtains are really kiddyish. i need some help and ideas?
i also can't buy any new furniture and can't spend alot of $$.

i just redid my room! my mom is a designer to spruce up get a new white quilt/bed spread ( if you use white you have more color options) paint the walls your favorite color and get a few new accesseries such as a lamp shade small rug even some fresh flowers

a change in wall color would give frsh new look to ur room...no need to change furniture if u dont want to....put up some abstract art work, can be ur own too....change curtains n put some sheer lacy white curtains givin the room a teen grl n yet a summer look..set up a study table with a shelf set up with ur interests(music/reading..etc)...u can hang up a funky guitar around ur "entertainment shelf", if u r a fan of music or guitar..u can also put some of the pics or friend collage over the bed....there r infinite more ideas..all depends on ur taste n ur lifestyle n ur personality....i hope this answer gives u some directions to follow as per ur personality...gud luck with ur new room..

Find a print you love in your favorite colors for the bed and curtains. Pick one of the colors for the walls, and a second for accessories [ lamps, picture frames, candles ].
Consider the finish of the furniture - oak looks great with green, while cherry might look better in a lighter or brighter color.

I re adorned my entire room @ objective and rooms 2 pass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I were given fairly lower priced expenditures and cot fairly sturdy sales!!!!!!!! I have a twin w/ a trundle, fabric cupboard w/ madame alexander dolls, and a chest/fabric cupboard/table kinda difficulty! that's pink!!!!!!!! and eco-friendly!!!!!!!! and far of plaid! Cuz i luv plaid! and that i have been given this huge throw pillowand that's pink & white polka dots! I couldnt locate curtains that werent over 30 greenbacks so i have been given yet another pillow 4 1/2 the price and cut back it up did some stitching and grew to develop into it into beatiful curtains! So do stuff like that, to maintain funds! wish This helps!!!!!!!!:)

if u can buy a big frame from an art store n gitter n glue it n use it above ur bed it would look nice also a new paint color n bedspread...
