The Mormons are Great People. True to their Religion, but I still feel insecure at understanding the Book of Mormon. They are such kind, good people. I have spoken with many Missionairies, but still could not completely do a good comparison to the Holy Bible. Because of the Mormon's kind , helpful, dedicated Missionaries, I know they must be true Children of God. I have studied the Religion and have lots yet to learn. I have walked in the Mormon trail and been to the Tabernacle. In Salt Lake City, My heart tells me they are Good and I have never thought negative about them. I get really upset, when people bash them, not knowing the truth. We need to Respect other beliefs.

Wow, that question can be answered many different ways. I'm assuming you are only talking about the people, not the organization. In that regard, Mormons are as diverse as anyone else. I think that some of them are completely brainwashed, while some of them think for themselves, and both groups I described can be found either active or inactive as LDS/Mormons. I think generally they're good people, I have a lot of LDS friends, and they (all but 2) stuck by my side and stayed a true friend when I told them about my decision to leave the church.

Never mind what I think. I stick with what God says: "Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me" (Isaiah 45:21.) " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. . . And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:1-3, 14.) "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed" (Malachi 3:6). " Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever" (Hebrews 13:8.)
So, we have established thru God's proven word that Mormons will not become gods, and no one else ever has either; Jesus has always existed (as God), and is not some engendered "son" of a bigger "god"; and that our God does not change or "progress" but is and always has been the God that He is.
Anyone who disagrees with this is wrong. That's what I know.

Good people.... but they're entire faith is based on a Science Fiction book. And when you get deeper into it, some of their faiths become pretty dangerous. I've been to the Mormon church several times with my Mormon friends and spoke with the missionaries. I just can't count them as Christians after learning their beliefs. The God they believe in is nothing but a "glorified man." I can't worship a "man." They also believe that man can become a god of their own world.... Just picturing my Mormon friends as gods of their own planets makes me shudder. Some of them are barely passing 10th grade!
(Joseph Smith had a drinking problem and stole the idea for the book of Mormon from a friend at a bar who was going to write a similar story as a fictional story)

I find most of them to be lovely people, though I'm probably being biased since I am Mormon :) However, note the word most because, like any other group of people, not everyone is nice.

I think Mormons are generally very good people, but sometimes can be a little elitist.

Although Mormons are usually friendly, loving, and kind people - they are involved in a false religion that distorts the nature of God, the Person of Jesus Christ, and the means of salvation.

I went to Salt Lake City once, there was no bus service on Sunday. I'm from Chicago, & I thought that was strange. It seemed like everyone just went to church & did'nt take public trans. anywhere.

The people themselves are nice, generally moral, and place a very high importance on their family.
The core teachings of the church are pretty difficult to swallow, and are rather extreme. The leaders tend towards inbred dopeship.
