Ten miles over the speed limit unless the flow is more rapid. Then follow the flow

General rule of thumb is anything 72 and below will not get you a ticket. You probably are safe up to 75 but that give you a cushion. If the traffic is going faster than that you have to choose to go with the flow or get out of the lane. Don't drive 65 in a high speed car pool lane you will mess up traffic.

The maximum limit (65) applies in ALL lanes including the C/P lanes. I don't advise going more than 5 over. It makes a lot of people mad, but they think there IS no limit in the C/P lane anyway.

The C/P lanes are regularly patrolled by motor officers looking for violators.

No more than 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. Trust me...I have'nt had a speeding ticket in 5 years. The last cop that gave me a speeding ticket (5 years ago) told me that.

there's the ten mile rule, but pllleeeaaasee, don't drive in the carpool lane and go slower than all the other cars in traffic.
