To make iced coffee, you use 2 times the grounds, and you cannot use your run of the mill robusto beans either. Iced coffee is made with better beans, and twice the amount. For me i will French press some Gevalia Le Precope, or some of the coffee i get from Indonesia every year as a gift from my soon to be mother in law. Put in somewhere around 8 scoops (depends on the size of the french press) and let it steep for around 8 minutes. Dump it in a cup full of ice with some milk and wow, what a treat.

If you have cold coffee there may or may not be any extra water in it, after brewing, from ice cubes that may have melted. Some people may just like it without it being watered down with ice.
