No. Even though his eternal soul may be preserved, he still has to pay the penalty for sin committed here.
There are consequences for sin in this life and the one to come. Unless a person repents of their sins before they die, they are destined to eternal separation from God. But there are repercussions for sin in this lifetime, even after someone has repented.
