Your dad will let you? Isn't that nice. And you got accepted to UCLA? Well that makes it all right then! You just tell the nice man in the car with the flashing red light that your dad said it's okay, and you are smart enough to go to UCLA and he will be sure to apologize for the delay, salute you and wish you well as you drive on!
Look, you have to go by any and all restrictions associated with any licence. If you ignore them, and are pulled over, you will be ticketed, and the car may be impounded as they cannot let your drive away once they have tagged you for driving unlicenced. If you have an accident, your dad will be begging and pleading with the insurance company to please cover the damages, because he didn't realize you had the keys while he was away. He can't give you any kind of permission that overrides the law, and he would be crazy to let you drive the car without proper licence.

Since you are not licensed, you may NOT drive alone. PERIOD.

If you were stopped, yes the police could (and probably would) have the car towed.

Since you were not licensed, the insurance would be void so you'd probably be cited for that as well. And if you had an accident, your Dad would have to pay all of the damages out of his pocket unless he swore out a theft complaint against you.

So, you're looking at charges of unlicensed operator, uninsured operator along with towing and storage fees. Several hundred in costs there at the very least.

Just saw your comment about your Dad allowing you to do that. He's a bigger idiot that you are, if that's true. Either that, or you're blowing smoke out your backside. Which is it? Idiot Dad or Smokey Butt?

If you should get into a wreck the insurance may not pay any damages, if your dad knows you are driving the car.without a license. also if he doesn't know you are driving the car..you may be arrested for stealing it. If you were pulled over the car would be impounded as you do not legally have a license to drive..Play it safe and stay out of trouble by finding a friend to play taxi driver for a week..
