For example, one prediction made by evolution is that if you isolate a species from the rest of the world it will evolve differently. If we look at the animals of Australia, an isolated continent, they are extremely unique.

This isn't proof, but come on you have to admit it is at least an intriguing observation.

Well, I would use the word "persuasive" rather than "suspicious", but your point is absolutely correct.

Thomas-the-doubter's response is amazing:
> "Did the animals in Australia turn into a different species, or did they just develop some unique traits?"

Thomas, are you suggesting that a kangaroo is not a different species? Is it just a rat with "some unique traits"?

> "I see no evidence that life on earth fits into the Darwinian model."

Do you *really* believe the Noah's Ark theory provides a better explanation ... a more logical explanation ... of how the kangaroo got to Australia than the Darwinian model? If there is really "no evidence" of the Darwinian model ... are you really willing to apply the same test to the alternative you suggest instead and cite the evidence for that Noah's-Ark explanation of kangaroos? Or is evidence only required for evolution ... creationism is exempt?

Please, Thomas-the-doubter, please tell us what you *would* consider to be evidence of the Darwinian model? Is there *anything*?

If you cannot answer this, then your silence says that evidence, or lack thereof, is not really the issue at all.

its called allocated speciation... i think. when you take a creature and separate it. like say bugs for instance. if you take one bug and put it on an apple tree, of course it will evolve into a different species with time than one that goes to a banana tree.
read about the big bang, it will make you understand a lot more about evolution and how humans came into being on this planet. you can also get a better understanding of God from the big bang, or at least i did.

It never fails to amaze me how so many people think that cosmogony, abiogenesis and the origin of species ALL come under the heading of 'Evolution'.

Good question. Note also that the marsupial body plan is weird enough to have arisen only once - which presumably means that all of Australia's remarkable diversity of unique animals all had a common ancestor.

I think that evolution explains the survival abilities of mankind, but they don't explain the other aspects of life that set humans apart from other species. For example, evolution doesn't seem to explain why we feel the need to be loved, to belong, to find a purpose for life.

I can see how evolution would work, but there is still some mystery out there. The big bang theory is a good thought, but how did space come to be and the planets and stars. I think that we will not know the answer until we pass on. Doesn't make your head hurt wondering and trying to figure it all out? It does mine......lol. Someday we will know and then the excitement and mystery will be gone, I am not ready for that yet. Smile!

Did the animals in Australia turn into a different species, or did they just develop some unique traits? I see no evidence that life on earth fits into the Darwinian model.

Nope.
There is much more evidence pointing towards creation.
First of all,our bodies are the most complex things that no "fluke" could have made them.
Second, the animals in Australia thing has nothing to do with anything.
There are unique animals everywhere.
Third, think about all of the evidence weve found for the Bible, the Dead Sea scrolls,(or was it Red Sea?)etc.
Lastly, since we are most likely entering end times, think of all the prophecies in the BIBLE that came or are coming true.

I do find it suspicious. Man views evolution as a slow and gentle process of creation when evolution is actually a violent deterioration. It’s the mask satan has put on his deceptive rule over this world.

Y'know, God likes to fiddle with things to make it look like he might have existed, but not really. Layered geological structure is merely a trick of Satan (God actually has a partner) to protect His Little Tricks He places in them, like cleverly crafted rocks that look like bones. I love those little trilobites. I think it's like God's Tiki.

Oh, and God's fun with His Creation: Flooding it, Blowing it to Smithereens, Smacking it with Interstellar Debris.

I think He wrote a User Manual, but it got seriously mistranslated, and He's never issued an Upgrade except to the Mormons, who still can't handle it.
