How come it seems that the people who truly love God and are walking with Him are the ones that always get hurt and afflicted? Everyone and I mean everyone I know that is NOT walking with God or living for him are living in fat city meaning that they have more than enough in life and prosper and succeed? I am sick and tired of hearing people say Oh when you get to heaven you will be rewarded and blessed Heaven is not helping with the situations I have to face being uniploar, gaining a lot of weight due to medications. I live in a body that only works when I take medicine 2X a day other wise I hallucinate, not being able to give my beloved Steadfast children, and losing my job only to start all over at the bottom.

My question is if sexual immorality is such a sin how come everyone I know that has had sex is doing great? My question is where do I go from here and how do I deal with negative thoughts that never seem to go away even when I surrendered these to God?

Encourager, it would seem the way that you described but, God tells us that it rains on the just and on the unjust. Jesus also, tells us that He came to give life and to give it more abundantly.

I am so sorry about your problems. I will pray for you. Can your medication be changed?

About the sex question. I know of many many people who are having sex who are not doing so great. Look around. The most visual people are the movie stars.

Paul states in his letter to the church at Rome, which is also for us, that we are more than conquerors. Please take a look at these verses Romans 8: 28-39, and claim them for yourself.

For this reason:

God wants you to see certain things. Stay steadfast.

It is written:

Mark 4:
16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Sound like my train of thought at about 12. Then I figured I hated god for being so cruel. I then thought "What if there is no god?" and the more I thought about it the more it seemed that the whole religion thing was a big lie. I'm a lot happier now that I can just say '**** happens' I don't have to feel like god is singling me out to suffer because of something I thought or did.

Mostly because the piece you are not seeing is that when people get sick they become more religious. Those who don't get sick don't move closer to religion. It is a psychological thing that you become more religious when you get older or sick. It is a common occurrence.

Maybe the rules aren't as tight, nor consequences as direct, or dire, as you have been led to believe.

Loosen up and have more faith in your deity. Maybe he's better than you've been told.
