No, it's proof that atheists are interested in the SUBJECT.
You think religion and faith don't effect my life?
You think they don't effect YOURS?
I'm interested in my life and how I'm permitted to live it, and religion unfortunately plays a big part in politics and legislation DESPITE the separation of church and state...
So damn right I care.
Don't you?

Everyone asks questions that can be considered religious or philosophical. "Atheism" is an answer to a religious question-- Is there a God? You're mistaken to claim that atheists don't have doubts. Self-proclaimed agnostics tend to focus on the possibility of doubt ("are you 100% sure? how about 99.999% sure? Well then, you're an agnostic!"). Whereas most atheists would consider discussing these slivers of doubt a limited venture (with no afterlife to look forward to we have to schedule accordingly). I'm more concerned with how we live our lives. I see Christians as fearful and hateful people for the most part. Self-proclaimed agostics are like insurance adjustors constantly talking about probabilities and worrying about absolute certainty where there can be none.

Atheist Gods are the scientists. Anytime we have a belief system with no absolute definitive proof then it could be defined as a religion system. A farmer has faith that a seed will grow but no proof until he plants. even the scientists dont know everything since everytime they discover something more questions arise. So atheism is a system of faith that science created something from nothing ie the big bang

I guess they have doubt or they blame how people interpret religion than the religion. Either they want update thoers on current science or criticize them. Maybe want to see someone elses point of view. Not all Atheists look down at religion, some people are just not raised in religious ways. i am consider atheist since don't go church or temple, but i have my onw morals. i like to understand people and answer question the best I can and hope it will satisfied them.

As annoying as the atheists are (and boy are they!), I actually have to admit that they have proven that they can occasionally add something useful to the conversation, and people who ask sincere questions in here deserve to get an answer from more than one point of view.
On the other hand..."Christians are stupid." is not a good answer to any question. It is in fact counter productive to Yahoo Answers and atheists in particular.

We are here to teach. In the immortal words of Frank Zappa:
"If you want to get together in any exclusive situation and have people love you, fine- but to hang all this desperate sociology on the idea of The Cloud-Guy who has The Big Book, who knows if you've been bad or good- and CARES about any of it- to hang it all on that, folks, is the chimpanzee part of the brain working. I come here to see questions being asked and the believers sweat and use responses that are always going to point to god with little or absolutely no proof what so ever.

lmao, I agree. I get so irrititated at these atheists. Although some hypocritics MIGHT try to help them to convert, none of us ATTACK, so leave us alone. We're not harming anyone. We, as Christians, teach love, patience, charity and humbleness. I don't see that as attacking others.
Zero, if you don't like Christians, or organized religions period, then move to somewhere where there is none, like Africa or the Amazon where all the primitive people are. I guarantee you that you won't have these problems anymore.

I guess atheists just like to have fun. And also to help those willing to open their eyes to the wonders of the universe and throw away ancient texts of mythology and discover how wonderful life can be.
