I was also offered a loan through Misuko Lending. I really need to know if they are a scam. My credit is also terrible!! I asked them several questions and they seem to have an answer for everything!! They state that their address is restricted. I found this to be unusual. They also stated they were with the better business bureau but they have a good standing and don't show up at their site. They seem to be a little quick on the phone with answers. Does anyone know if this is a scam? I really need to know!! Thanks

First, you are obviously suspicious. If in doubt, avoid the loan. Second, the address of a legitimate lender CAN'T be restricted. For that matter any company MUST have an address made public for serving them with legal papers.

A good rule of thumb, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I've read on Yahoo Answers here for Mitsuko lending, did you misspell it perchance? Anyways, it seems that they ask for a 10 percent "insurance fee". Why would they want YOU to send THEM money, if they're just going to loan it back to you?
I don't believe that they are legitimate. If they won't give you an address, what makes you think that they can be trusted?
Any loan that asks for a percentage up front is a scam.
Don't talk to them anymore, and in fact if they call you, order them to stop.
If you have poor credit, you need to start working on fixing that before you buy a new toy.

Woooo, "address is restricted" is complete baloney, why would they not want customers to find them? (And how do you send your loan payments!)

A company in good standing with the BBB would DEFINITELY be listed. The only reason a company is not listed on the BBB site is if they do not exist -- companies with good standing are proud of that, and really love to show up on the BBB listing. (You can also call a local BBB to confirm standing/ratings, which would be a great additional way to prove this little story is just hogwash.)

They have told you two big lies, more than enough reason to not do any more business with them. STAY AWAY and don't get scammed!
