Good Luck! Just remember even if it is free, you'll pay over $1000 a year just to maintain it.

Ha. Good luck with that. A well bred, sound, healthy Pekingese will cost over $700 and a well bred, sound, healthy Boston Terrier will cost $600-$1000 or more. Your best bet is to go to http://www.petfinder.com and adopt a dog. The adoption fee is very cheap, depending on the age of the dog. If you can't afford more than $100 for the dog, you need to face reality. A dog will cost well over $1000 every single YEAR to maintain and keep healthy.

Good Luck, frankly even a low end puppy mill (which you wouldn't want to do anyway) would be a whole lot more than $100. Then if it hasn't had it's shots that will cost you quite a bit for example my almost 10 wk old malamute just got his first puppy series of shots, worming and such it was almost $80 with another return visit coming up for at least another $80 and that doesn't cover quality food or all the accessories he needed.

No offence Miss, but those are (at the low end) $300 dogs...without pedigree. Bred from champion show dogs, you're looking at 4-5 figures.
For under $100...that's a mutt. Generally fewer health problems than either parent breed, and also generally of better temperment - as long as it is treated well!
Drop-in at the local shelter. You'll find all kinds of dogs, ranging from lost, to mis-treated, to strays, to unwanted, to nearly feral. If you're lucky, you'll even find a Peke or Terrier for below market cost. (Pay the "room & board" and cost of the shots and that's about it!)
Avoid (most) pet stores, and if you do, ask about the breeders, and how to contact them! Too-many pet stores (especialy if they are a "chain" store) use "Puppy Mills" to buy the animals, and those are a nightmare and a half!

My advice to you is to adopt a puppy at your local shelter. You're not going to find anything that is a purebred for under $100, and if you do, it is not the person you want to buy a dog from. By adopting a dog at a shelter, you are helping an animal, and it doesn't cost as much.

Um... I hope you missed a zero...
Try the AKC classifieds, expect to travel, and expect to pay a lot more than $100 for a well bred pups. No worries, most of us once beleived that a dog couldn't cost all that much. Unfortunately, reality will hit you in the pocket book.
