OK, I am in 6th grade...is it normal.....?

Question

Is it normal for 6th graders to be makin out with each other? I mean, they hug, and kiss, and stuff like that. they are both in 6th grade, the GF and i went out and now we're good friends. BTW THEY BROKE UP TODAY. She told me she broke up with him cuz she caught him out with his friends doing drugs (pot, crack, etc.). Is it normal for 6th graders to be making out and stuff? and should i believe her that he was out doing drugs and drinking and stuff?

I knew some of my friends at that age who were doing drugs, sleeping around, and stealing cigarettes from their parents ... so she's probably not lying ... if you actually have morals and a family who cares about you ... you wouldn't want to indulge in activities like that - you end up in trouble ... and get a horrible start in life ... good luck ... sounds like your school needs better supervising ... !

First of all where does a 6th grader "go out" to? As for the kissing thing, It was 2 days before my 13th birthday when I had my first kiss and it was a dare. I would hope drugs would be hard to get at that age, I mean where are these kids going to do this? they can't drive? She made a good decision in dumping him because she doesn't need to be involved in that. Whether he did it or not, he is getting a reputation and they can last a lifetime. She does not want that rubbing off on her. He was probably just using her to brag to his friends.

If they're just hugging and kissing, I guess there's nothing really wrong with that, but there's nothing wrong with you if you don't feel ready for that yet either.

As for the pot and crack, that's scary business at any age, and I certainly hope it's not true, but you might want to discuss this with one of your parents or a teacher you can confide in. Steer clear of that crowd... never be affraid to be yourself... There is no such thing as normal ;)

Drugs making out and drinking. O shi- what is this world coming to, at 6th grade as well. Dont know how it is over ure location but im positive we don have that wacked out **** in Australia :)

I think its normal i mean sixth graders are at that stage in life where they want to start trying stuff i.e. making out and drugs. sixth grade is when i first made out with a chick. Not the drug part though, even though i was tempted

well it seems that kids are getting into stuff younger every year
such as sex and drugs and everything
i know about these 12 yearold kids who has sex at school

so yes its very common to find 6th graders or even younger kids kissing

kids know are expossed to more things everyday such as tv the internet they learn alot about there surroundings so they think it is appropriate to do what they see in on tv

i think they are too young to be going out with each other they need to wait a little longer until they're older. a hug is fine but making out is a little more. and DRUGS i can't tell if she's is lieing or not but that's very seriuos u should tell someone about that too stop it cause u could be helping somebody with their problem.

No, your just leaving baby world how could you be involved in kissing and drugs, so far. Just think before you react, remember you were just in elementary school. By the time you get to high school and want to experience those things you cant. SO NO!!!!!!!!

HELL YA-- its nasty,sick and wrong!!! you should be consentrated on toys, barbies and pokemon....AND SCHOOL::: wow -- im 16 and I dont even do taht besides-- NO ONE SHOULD DO DRUGS-- doesnt matter if your 1 or 1000 yrs old ( thats probly the major reason why its ILEGAL.... but thats just an after thought)

Hmmm 6th grade... there's a lot of people getting started by that time.
I wouldn't say "yeah, yeah it's very normal", but I can't say it's abnormal either.
