no, not unless you take him to court and terminate his parental rights because of abandoment.thats what you should do.good luck to you and your son.

hopefully he would have 5 years of back due child support to pay in the very least if he wanted to see his son again...

Maybe if they have tried serving you with papers for custody or something and couldn't find you.But honestly I don't think so.
