IF I were to stay on the Strip I would recommend Circus Circus, Sahara, or Riveria. Places like Wynn, MGM Mirage properties, and Harrah's Entertainment properties are not know for "giving things away." If you want to be on the Strip then you will need to spend BIG bucks to get even the slightest comp for slots. At the tables you must play at least $15 a hand for several hours to even get a nod from the floorman.

The best casinos would be ones locals enjoy but they are NOT on the Strip

South Point - far end of Las Vegas Boulevard South, about 2 miles south of Tropicana This is only about a year old

Gold Coast - west of Caesars, west of freeway - about 1/2 mile. Has a nice showroom

Orleans - west Trociana Hotel, west of freeway about 1 mile Has a nice showroom

You join the club and make points which then covert into comps. And if you play a table you give them the same card for a different kind of comp Each of these has bowling and a movie theater as well as the standard casino buffet, slots, etc.

They are all pretty close. They are all corporate and very tight with their comps.
