Why is man being punished and sent to hell if he does not believe in Allah?
He is given a brain and mind that is not fully knowledgeable in these things leading him to question faith.
Is that not the act of a man knowing not?
So why is he punished for being human?

I wouldn't worry so much about Allah. Allah has proved to be lacking in the righteousness department. Allah can pretend that sin is not sin if you do some good deeds. The only problem with this is Allah is a part of Muhammad's vain imagination. The true God created man and existed long before Muhammad and his Allah. He is a righteous God who demands the penalty fo sin be paid. The wages of sin is death. He is also a merciful God who paid the penalty of death for those who accept the atonement provided by Jesus Christ our lord.

In Islam, no human is punished for being human. I don't know where you get that idea.
Islam teaches that we are to submit ourselves to the will of Allah (the same God as the God of the Jews and Christians) and to do our best to follow his path.

if so many of these people (not all, mind you) go around killing people with pretentious and false values, killing innocents mostly, generally with bombs, then i don't know how you could even believe in this in the first place. sorry for the rest of you muslims who aren't like this... so many of these extremists do this kind of stuff and justify it by the name of Allah, calling Jihads and such (on America and whatever else). sorry, my answer was a little away from the point. i just think that this religion is a little hypocritical, just like most/all of the others.

I think that what we know here in terms of religion is only the surface. I think that there is so much more that we do not know. There is no real way to answer this question, pray on it and maybe you will get something.

It's all part of the marketing strategy - i.e. to make believers glad to be believers because they think they're privileged. It's another aspect of the carrot and stick approach to promoting religion.

Because he has been shown the path. He does not need to know, he only has to choose the way.
