Hello there. I am a doctor. I went to college for 4 years and majored in biology and creative writing. You can major in pretty much anything you want in college - as long as you take enough science classes to fill certain pre-medicine requirements. I graduated from high school with nearly straight As. I got mostly As in college as well. The medical college admissions test is what you take during college to apply to medical school. You have to do well on that test - three sections long - in order to apply to medical school. I did well enough and went straight to medical school for 4 years. If you want to be a surgeon who does surgery on all parts of the body, your residency is 5 years long AFTER medical school. If you want to be a specialist like an open heart surgeon or plastic surgeon you will have to go even longer. I think if you work hard in high school and college and get mostly As and Bs you will have a very good chance of being a doctor or a surgeon someday. Good luck!

First you go to any four-year college and take the Pre-Medical classes. Afterwards, you go to Med school for another 4 years and earn your PhD. You will intern at hospitals for credits also. Then you take an exam and if you pass you can become a doctor. They have programs where you can specialize in certain things.

You need good grades and take extracurricular activities during the Pre-Med stages. They look for interesting, diverse, and smart students. Volunteer work looks good on your Med school application too.

I'm not a doctor, nor am I studying to become one, but I think I may be able to help you out here.

To become a doctor, you'll probably need some type of college degree, I'm not sure if there's any particular one that you'll definitely need, but some examples may include studying endocrinology, or cardiology.

Then, you'll need to apply and be accepted into medical school. Once this happens, you'll have to go through school and then you'll have to become an intern, which may include doing different things around different medical buildings.

Finally, you'll have to go through your residency.

You'll then be able to become a doctor.

(I'm not sure if that's exactly how the process works, but I tried.)
