Aight its started last weekend when I ate a belgian waffle with syrup, a salad, and a milkshake. At the end of the meal I had dull pains in my head, loss of focus, i think loss of peripheral vision, loss of taste, and my throat hurt when swallowing. Anytime I eat now my head hurts and my vision has only slowly started to get better.

Diabetes (high blood sugar) causes serious eye problems.
My Husband has had two lens replacements and a vitrectomy. It is creepy. Plus a double lid lift (plastic surgery)

Excessive sugar (go sugar free, use splenda) and ease way back on beef and pork. They have a great effect on the sugars.

Are you heavy?? Overweight?? Irritability, cloudy vision, tingling in fingers or toes, frequent urination. These are all signs.

Get a blood sugar test run.

Nope. If you are nearsighted, most likely you inherited it from family. Nearsightness is progressive in most cases meaning that for a few years of your life the rx will keep going up and then get steady until you are ready for reading glasses at about 40 years old. Nothing you eat will cause you to loose your vision, however, if you are diabetic, you may want to get a regular check up once a year to track the pressure behind your eyes (pressure is glaucoma)
