the sun *may* cause skin cancer...do you stay inside all day?

No. That is completely false. It is an old wives tale that originated from women (or men) thinking that the blocked secretions (sweat) would build up and cause cancer. Several documented tests have been done, all of which concluded that deodorant does not cause cancer . So, you can wear deodorant and smell fresh without worrying it will lead to cancer.

Cheers

Omg, yes that is sooo true. It's because the first ingredient in most deodorants is ''aluminum'' something. Aluminum, as you probably know, is a metal, and your skin can abosorb tiny bits of it, and if you have that running through your bloodstream for a couple of years, you will get some form of cancer, probably not deadly, but cancer nonetheless.
I think most white, solid deos have that ingredient. I use a clear one now. Try a clear one, just to be sure you don't get aluminum in your bloodstream.

There are certain brands that contain chemicals that are a big cause of contributing to cancer. But I've looked at all of them and Dove has the least.

I think it's the stuff in anti-perspirant called Aluminum Zirconium. Check on the label to see if it's in a particular brand. I have also heard it's bad, but whether it's true or not....sorry don't know.
