Why should I believe any other human being about my spitritualty,
what proof have i been given that there is a god. Besides people telling me my whole life what to believe. I think I'll wait for my divine intervention before I worship. I'm sure he'll understand on judgment day right?

There is no justification for belief without evidence (not a rational one, anyways).

If god created you, he'd know how you would turn out, and he therefore shouldn't judge you.

What on earth does it take for you to believe in His existence? Does not the intricate human body, life itself, all the animals and their perfect way of caring for themselves, the beauty in Mtns, oceans and all of creation and all the miracles that surpass human understanding enough? Also, all the prophecies of the Bible that have come to pass with more unfolding right before our eyes? You must have a very hard shell with a thick veil over your eyes not to see His existence. And besides, you do not have to believe, as no one is forcing God's everlasting love and mercy on you. If you wait to worship, you are playing with time that God has not promised anyone. For only God gives us our next breath and none are promised tomorrow on this earth. You are playing with fire and will end up in the place of eternal fire if you keep stubbornly resisting The Lord for physical proof. At Jesus Second Coming, you and everyone else will see His physical body return and then is when you will get "physical proof". But by then, it will be too late for you! This is why Jesus says in the Bible "Today is the day of Salvation". What God/Jesus will understand on judgment day is that you chose not to have faith in His Son Jesus "without your kind of proof" as you ignore the wonderful proof, miracles, love and mercy that He's given you already. What you will understand in return is His Words to you "Depart from me, I never knew you". Sorry to be so blunt, but you did ask and I answered with truth and love. Don't let your pride hide His loving proof He has given you! God bless.

Every society throughout the ages has had some kind of God. It seems that the sense of supernatural and of God is now in most people's genes.

Religious people do not believe in God because of any logical proof. They start by believing in God and then use anything to justify it.

Do some research on the Cross and you will find that it is not only proof of God's existence but of God's love.Unfortunately no body can give you faith.I guess we all asked this question.Good luck.Kirk Cameron (Growing pains) was an Atheist but now made a U- turn.

I once asked this same question, and spent time thinking about it. In the end it is down to two things: how people conduct themselves with each other. Is it through kindness?
And, secondly, through realisation into how things actually exist. It then becomes an experience. Belief is the stepping stone to realisation.

Well honestly no, because it is supposed to be this perfect omnipotent being but yet created angels that fought against it knowing it would create an alternate evil. Therefore it knew when it created you that you would use logic to determine existance and therefore has already found you guilty no matter what you do. So you are screwed so might as well enjoy it.

Of course God will 'understand' -- although as this is a human concept and God is beyond human this may be an inappropriate use of the term.

Belief in God is a matter of Faith -- hence no bolts of lightning, or other proofs!

You are correct to assume that your lack of Faith will not be 'held against you' beacuse God is 'all-forgiving' -- however -- by the time you realize your mistake, it will be too late to regret that you would have had a happier and more fulfilling life in this mortal plane IF you had had Faith in God's existence...such will be your loss!

It is as simple as that!

First you have to understand yourself, know who you are, where are you and where are you going, then you have to understand God, for this is not necessary any book, God speak with you everyday, see the signs.

Some readings of Budd ah are really interesting, Jesus the most and Candi and Confucius...the big est, then you can understand why you are here and what God wants from you.

From there on, you see the signs, believe me, every step.

The answer is Yes he will understand. But, Nope! (According to the scriptures) it want change your eternal fate.

Mankind was created with an innate belief of the existence of some Supreme Being. To believe in whither there is a God or not, is the individual on personal choosing.

In Reality, God can only be known by revelation. Which he reveals himself to mankind the day he formed Adam from the Dust of the ground, and Eve, from the finished product of Man.

In Hebrew 1:1-2 we read; GOD who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time pass by the fathers, by the prophets.

Hath in these last days spoken to us by the Son, in whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

God has revealed himself to each and everyone. It is through his fleshly manifestation of himself, in and through the person of Jesus.

In Galathians 1:6- the Apostle Paul writes; I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (excommunicated)

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. (excommunicagted)

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

You are right to wait for God to show you Himself, that he is real, that's honestly the only way anyone knows he's real. It was the best moment of my life, I pray God will be real to you one day too.
