I'm doing my BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) lesson and in Romans 16:19 when it says "wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil" what do you think that means?

Be wise about what is good ... obviously, know what is good.
Be innocent about what is evil ... don't even know about evil stuff, leave it alone.

You need to read the previous two verses.Paul is talking about those who are in the ministry to serve there on purpose and not the Lords.That's the evil he's speaking of.He wants us to be wise about what is good and to remain innocent and not fall into the same trouble that these which he speaks of have. (Romans 16:19) For YOUR obedience has come to the notice of all. I therefore rejoice over YOU. But I want YOU to be wise as to what is good, but innocent as to what is evil.
It simply means to NOT get involved in anything that could be evil.
Have no knowledge of it.
Like a baby has no understanding about how computers work.
Yet that lack of information does not affect their lives.
They still eat and sleep O/K/
Be like that with evil.
Do not even investigate it.

It means we should not pursue evil things. You can get into trouble following information that will lead you down a road of hate, bitterness, ugliness, gossip, etc. Just as Philippians 4:8 tells us, concentrate on those things that are good, pure, true, lovely, admirable.
Don't look at those online videos of the girl being stoned. Don't pursue more information about evil things, when it's made available. We are not to be ignorant of them, we are just not to pursue them.

Paul is admonishing all the Saints to be wise concerning good, and simple concerning evil--that is, recognize that which is of God and shun that which is of the devil.

means give your attention and interest to what is good , the evil must have no attention in our lifes .

Keep it simple.
For example: Someone ask "Is oral sex a sin?" Yes. It is sin. You can debate it and rationalize it and blah blah blah all day. When all is said and done Oral sex is a sin.
Simple.
