At a stop sign before entering major street, I stopped little past stop sign because I couldn't see the incoming cars with tall van and cars that were parked on side of the major road.
Then an officer on motercycle at the stop sign knocked on my window and said I needed to stop at the white limit line for pedestrians.
I stopped where it was just about a foot ahead of the line because I clearly saw the both ways for no pedestrians coming before the stop sign.
But then the conversation after that was wierd;
1-He asked me if it's my car that I'm driving. When I said yes, he asked me what year it is, ovbiously not believing my answer. He didn't ask for my registration though.
2-He then wrote a ticket which I didn't know what it was, so I asked if it's a ticket and he said "No, you need to go to the court by this date."
But then later at the court I found out it's a ticket.
I'm so mad how he treated me and gave me a ticket for that and for lying.
Can anyone give me best defense advise??

Sure. Pay the citation. You admit going past the limit line. You have no defense.

The law says you are to stop at the white line, period. You must stop there and then you are allowed to proceed ahead a little if you can 't see properly to go.
1. So the officer asked you some questions about your vehicle? How is that bad treatment? We need to ask questions to do our job.
2. Here in Ontario Canada you wouldn't have to go to court for a stop sign ticket you would just get the ticket.
Why do you think the officer was lying? Either he made a mistake or you misunderstood what he was saying. The officer has nothing to gain by telling you to go to the court house.
You will not be able to use the fact that you perceive that you were mistreated by an officer as a defense for stopping at the wrong place at an intersection.

Go to court and tell your story if you really think it will help. You admittedly stopped passed the line and you will most likely be found guilty. I dont see where you were treated badly. If the officer called you a nasty name and pulled you out of the window head first and kicked you like a rabbid squirrel then complain against him. Otherwise pay the ticket and stop complaining.

He asked you what year the vehicle was so that if he ran it out and found it to be different from what you told him, he would have a good idea that it wasn't your car. This could mean that it was recently stolen and not entered into the system yet, or something else.
As far as the ticket, I find it hard to believe that he told you that you HAD to go to court. However, if you were in fact told that you should call his supervisor at the department and talk about the incident.

Yet another victim of extortion from a police officer who upholds "the law". God bless officers who had out tickets like this because they are concerned with our safety. You should have thanked the officer and apologized for stopping only a foot past the line...enough sarcasm.
Fight the ticket, the least you can do is waste the courts and officers time just like they wasted your time when giving you the ticket.
Good luck!

You can make a formal complaint with the Chief/Marshall/what have you of Police, at that certain department. You need to still pay your ticket and show up to court, otherwise things will get worse for you.

Yeah, that's just the thing, go get a lawyer and fight over the fine and listen to the officer say whatever he wants and be believed anyway and end up getting a bigger fine because you're wasting the court's time--that sounds like a plan!

You violated the law, and received a citation. The Officer may have thought you were being a smart *** for asking if that was a ticket, after he handed you a ticket. In all honesty, what else do the Police hand out?.
