The interview consists of 14 questions with questions ranging from "What is your favorite school subject?" to "If you found a wallet with money and no one was looking what would you do?"

The class is Child Develpoment 10 at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut California, and with your permission I would like to interview your 7-11 year old child either through email or instant message, supervised of course, at your convienence.

Please leave an answer indicating your interest in this project, and I will email you through yahoo answers and give you my personal email address and Instant Message screen name. Thank you.

Not that I expect anyone to believe this, but I am not some pervert, I really do need this for my Child Development class. If it puts anyone at ease, NO PERSONAL INFO is necessary beyond age (simply bc i have a 7-11 y/o requirement) and First name (only), which technically could be left out.

I don't even need to speak to the child directly, I can email you the questions and you can look them over to make sure they are appropriate and you can sit down with your child and fill them out, and email them back to me.

Thank you to the serious inquires

Oh and not to point out the obvious but if i were looking to cause harm to a child, why would i seek out parental approval? Wouldn't a pervert direct the question at the CHILDREN and not the PARENTS?

Just a thought could you ask at the local schools if their students could participate ( with parental permission) in your research. It would be easier for a principal to check your authenticity regardless of how sincere you are.In this day and age what parent wants to take a chance with their child's safety regardless of how innocent your questions may appear. As for your question about you letting parents supervise the interview it could be a ploy to have more people respond. After all is said and done what does an internet predator look like ( they never come across as a threat)? I think your best route is as I suggested contacting local schools and have a letter of reference from your course professor stating the purpose of your research. Good luck.

I don't think you're going to get too many parents to respond to this. The title is scary because you sound suspicious, exactly what most parents would expect from a child predator. If you're serious, you can look at my profile and get my information and I'll see if my little brother would be interested in answering some of your questions.

I have an 8 yr old. If you send me the questions so I can look them over, I'd be happy to have her answer them and send them back.
