Okay...everyone in my family tells me that I'm such a beautiful girl and that my parents need to lock me up cause the guys will be all over me. The thing is...their not. Actually, most ignore me and treat me like crap. Do you think my family is lying just to make me feel better? I was so excited when I became 16 and was able to date, but...there's no one to date. I'll admit I'm not the most popular girl at school, but I'm not ugly. What do you think?

you may be drop dead gorgeous... but that doesn't mean you've got the right guy for you waiting around the corner. just be patient. guys will come your way. do you know why these guys are treating you this way? are you dressing inappropriately? guys are more likely to respect a girl who takes care of herself and dresses stylishly/modestly. have confidence. be yourself. i haven't been asked out yet and i am 18. i wouldn't consider myself beautiful, but i am not ugly either. i still have many guy friends who appreciate me and treat me well. i even have some that love to flirt with me, but i haven't been asked out. believe me, there is more to life than dating. find yourself and guys will find you. having a good level of self-esteem and confidence, and having a good personality, will make you even more attractive.

No one is lying to you. But don't rush to date, take your time and you will meet a nice young man. Have you tried meeting guys somewhere else besides school. There is church and youth organizations you can join not only is it fun look good on your college applications you can meet good people

most not all guys in high school are idiots in my opinion and you shouln't really date them, most of them are trying to be something their not. just relax and keep your eyes open for someone who is willing to get to know you first. dont just hook up with random guys or you will be the most popular girl in school in a negative way. just be yourself, smile, and have fun someone will take notice soon enough, be patient!

Self Confidence attracts guys. Be yourself and trust me, there will be someone that notices you for who you are. You don't HAVE to date right now. When the time is right, you'll know, just let them come to you ^.^

well if the guys are making fun of you they secretly have acrush on you so take my advice dont worry im in the same situation as you so just do the same thing back and mabey you will find some one who can appreciate you

I think you need to be patient and don't rush into finding a date/boyfriend. your parents think you' re beautiful because you are their daughter . and you probably are beautiful in your own way. be cool.be patient. you have plenty of years to date and find a boyfriend..
