I've heard that people can get t.v on their computers. It's impossoble for me to get cable on my t.v so I was just wondering. Would it cost anything? Doyou have to call your cable provider?

yes it is possible but you will need to goto your local electronics store
prefferably bestbuy or bestbuy.com to check it tout
its a modem about $120 for t.v.
then another wireless modem if its a laptop
but i'll tell you now its not worth it because you cant get cable on it
plus if its a laptop you cant go to far away from the modem that gives you wireless

Its like a website that gives you other websites to watch all kinds of movies and shows cartoons anything

You have to use either Windows Vista Premium, or Windows Media Center Edition, which both come with a program called Media Center. If you have a TV tuner card in your computer, you can hook up your antenna, or cable from cable company to it and watch television. You can even record shows like Tivo.

You must have a Video Card that accepts TV CAble inputs (via RF cable, or RCA, or even component or HDI) . The video card usually comes with a program you can use
however, if you receive sattelite or digital cable, your comp might not be able to catch channels because you do not have a cable receiver attached / incorporated to your card

Get a slingbox! They're awesome, you can watch and control your home TV from any computer on the internet. Even change the channels and watch recorded programs! NO EXTRA EQUIPMENT REQUIRED!
The only bad thing is if someone at home is watching the TV when you're trying to, you have to watch what they watch, or you could get into a fight, like as if you had 2 remote controls lol.

You can go to www.undergroundsatellite.com. There, you can buy TV software for $67 which will let you watch over 2000 channels from any country in the world. My friend tried it and it worked.

you need either a pci tuner card, or what i would recomend buying is a usb tuner, i would take a look at all the usb tv tuner here,

you can install a tv card from a local computer store. pretty easy to install .
