the only way to get rid of fat is by overall weight loss because we cant choose which body parts to lose the weight off.
doing sit ups will only make those areas look bigger since there is gona be more muscle underneath the layer of fat.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Cardio, cardio, cardio.
Walk a lot. Run, swim, bike, play sports, do anything and everything to keep you moving. Situps are okay, but it takes 20 minutes of continuous movement to START burning fat stores. Go for half-hour to 45 minutes walks every night. Take a dog or a friend.
Also, watch what you eat. Eat veggies and fruits and drink plenty of water. Stay away from sugar and fried foods. It's tough to control what's in your house, since your folks do the shopping, but ask for more fruits, bananas, apples, grapes, oranges, that sort of thing.
You'll be fine in no time.

Don't drink colas and white sugar from Monday through Friday. You can drink colas and eat things with sugar only on weekends. Drink 4 to 5 bottles or glasses of water a day and eat more veggies and less red meat. The pounds will begin to melt off after awhile. I lost 15 pounds just giving colas and eating less sugar and candy. It takes a few weeks to start showing that it is working depending on how close you stay to those rules. Oh leave them french fries off and cut way back on fried foods.

Walking, jogging, and running will help you get rid of your love handles! You need to work out consistently though. Try 30 minutes a day for 6 days and eat healthy too!

Avoid fat at all costs.. read the nutrition values on everything you eat and avoid to go out and eat as you have no control of things that other people prepares. Keep your fat intake to a minimum ( i myself try to keep it below 22grams ) eat food with lots of protein and low in carb. That'll improve your exercise level great deal time..
