find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Here is a list of common mistakes people make when attempting to lose weight. Remember that this list contains general guidelines and that your best bet is to consult with a Registered Dietician to be sure that you are meeting all of your bodies nutritional needs.

1) Not eating breakfast

2) Going too long between meals

3) Not eating immediately after a workout

4) Relying on energy bars or meal replacements instead of quality food choices

5) Limiting carbohydrate intake

6) Eating too much fast food or processed foods

7) Following a low-calorie diet

8) Thinking that because you exercise you can eat whatever you want

9) Not drinking enough water

10) Following fad diets

If any of the above list sounds familiar then make a change. Only you are responsible for your health and well-being. Don't leave it up to someone else (spouse or doctor) to get you on the path towards feeling good. Try to be more active and make smarter choices concerning the foods you put into your body. Stay tuned to this site for future diet tips.

Don't do a crash diet... It actually makes you gain weight when you start eating again, anyway, I think just a balanced diet and exercise (aerobics is fun, running, try going to the gym) will get you losing weight in no time. For a balance diet, try eating more veggies. A salad gives you more energy than a greasy burger. Try wheat bread on sandwiches instead of white and try not eating chips, pizza, or any greasy fattening food and substitute it for a rice cake or baked chips (baked lays, doritos, or cheetos). It's all based on moderation. You could lose 2 lbs or more a week if you just eat right and exercise... It could also add years to your life too!!!!!! Hope I helped :)
