I do not really know. I think I would have to read the Quran to figure this out. I do not think that anyone even a Christian can say what is real or not about Mohammed until they read the Quran and read what he said. If he preached the word of God all the way then it could be possible. I have not read anything in the Bible that has said that there will be no more true prophets.
I think that the ultimate goal of the Christian is to read all three books (Torah, Bible, and Quran) and to decide what is true or not to them in their hearts.

Um, by your logic, wouldn't that also mean that atheists are also Christians in disguise? More likely, they are two different subsets of the set "People who think that Mohammed's ascension was a myth".

I don't know what Muhammed saw. maybe he saw an angel and got it wrong. maybe he was angry with Christianity so he invented his own. maybe he wanted God to adhere to his desires (I have yet to hear of Muhammed be scolded).
I am not trying to offend muslims, just stating my opinion, no one else's. I don't believe Muhammed was God's servant, so I can't believe he had it right.
and no, I'm not an atheist.
