Being in the protection tension, as i became into, and having to make judgements, on a similar time as at war, i could no longer locate the money for to be incorrect. Now-a-days, in spite of the undeniable fact that, maximum of my judgements are of a miles less "threatening", nature. So, if I make a bad selection, then no, i'm guy adequate to admit i'm incorrect. in no way too previous to earnings something new, whether it is a lesson in humility.

Its a defensive mechanism. And it is GREAT if you are having an intelligent, adult debate.

I think it is great when people get together, disagree but can remain civil enough about it to SEE someone else's side, even if they themselves can't/don't agree with it.

You don't have to admit you are "wrong" to admit to someone else that they very well could have a legitimate position.

I don't know, but I have a brother in law that is that way, he has an answer for everything, and he is always right, even tho I can show him the proof that I am right! HE IS such a jerk! I stay away from him as much as possible, I just don't know what my sister sees in him!

lemme just speak for myself here.

i HATE to be wrong. i admit it to myself but it takes a lot of pep talk to get myself to admit it to the person.

i guess thats one of my flaws... we've all got them.
