God doesn't exist and the Devil doesn't exist. Both are just superstitions. Neither puts up any fight.
In that, they're equals.

I'm going to hell for this, I'm a christian, and I dont understand if Jehovah is so powerful and satan so sorry why is he trying to prove this fool wrong so long, and make everyone believe he is the one true and great God, if he was that great and the devil was that sorry,and was a fool to turn against Jehovah, why go through all of this since the beginning of time, so agree....but the devil still ain't **** in my book, he is a liar,and get what he deserve.

I agree! I have been doing a lot of thinking on this recently...and I have to say, I think the Devil has an amazing amount of power and resources. That's why the Bible says, "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world." Without God, we are completely vunerable to the Devil's devices and tricks.

He can put up a good fight against humans - but is no match for the Lord God Almighty.
We as humans have Gods word to fight Satan - just as Jesus did it in the desert - Jesus used only WORDS to defeat Satan - not any physical power.

In the original bible, Satan was an Angel who assisted God. He would tempt people and then give God a report of who he was able to tempt.
The church decided they needed a scapegoat for all the wrong people do, so they re-wrote and re-defined Satan to make him the cause of everything that goes wrong in the world.

Anyone who doesn't agree is fooling themselves. The devil is real and does have power. However, his power has to be given to him by us. We can overpower Him through the blood of Jesus. Jesus already won the ultimate battle on the cross.
