Did you see the "Welding" episode on Modern Marvels?

Question

I believe last night was the first time it aired, and I'd like to know your impression of it.

Please grade it A, B, C, D or F, and offer a brief (or lengthy, if you wish) comment.

Also, please say something about your own background so I'll know whether you're an insider or an outsider to the welding industry.

I'll give it a B+

I missed the first few minutes, but was hooked for the rest of the show. A few of the portions I really liked were:

- Welding structural I-beams end to end instead of riveting.

- Underwater welding

- Metal clad welding (I've heard the term, but never understood how it was made)

I don't work in the welding industry, but I'll be watching when it airs again.
