I've noticed that if I don't get enough sleep, or if I'm a little tired and not as refreshed my face gets all broken out.

Yes. Oddly enough, the lack of sleep can act as a stressor on the body's overall health and strength of the immune system and the immuno-resistance response. We need our sleep to help keep our skin to stay healthy!

Lack of sleep can effect it, but sometimes even when you DO get enough sleep, during the night or even if your half asleep or just laying there, your face will rub against the pillow or whatever material you use to sleep on and irritate the skin, this can especially be true if your hair is all over your face when you wake up, because of all the oils in your hair.

(Other such bed material can cause it)

Only unless you think it's that severe, or if maybe you may be having allergies or an allgeric reaction, you shouldn't have to change your blankets, pillows etc. but at night if you can, tie your hair up losely so it doesn't get in your face as much, and apply POND's cream all over you face and neck before going to bed and when you wake up.

Each time you get out of the shower you should apply the appropriate type of acne cream to to help remove the pimples or treat it.

Hope this helped.

I'm not sure how the two could be directly related or the science behind it but one of my friends finds that when she doesn't get a ot of sleep, she begins to get pimples as well. I guess there is something to it so just try and get some good night sleep!

Acne is caused when dead skin cells can't move to the surface quickly enough, and tiny infections form. So it's possible that sleep has infection-fighting and skin rejuvenating effects that would keep the dead cells moving to the surface.

Yea it can happen. Just like if you've ever stayed up all night your face usually gets all oily. At least mine does at times. Acne isn't a prob now but it used to be.
