I think Christ not coming back in the next two thousands years will even weed out the slow ones.

I agree somewhat. Some religions do have a driving force though. In Hinduism, I have found much peace and happiness. The ancient scriptures are full of wisdom and the sages of ancient times truly speak to your heart. Whoever can find spirituality in a religion will not drop their religion. In the end, your sole proof is your rational mind.

I Disagree :In the end of this age there will be more and more emphasis on Worship, But it will be Satanicaly directed:
One thing the large Religious Networks are headed for Bankruptcey.There will be a few local Christian Ministers left.
also the ref . to events you believe they will mean nothing;
I Believe that we will see so many unexplaneable Catstrophes
Volcanoic --Weater Patterns-so Bizarre ---Earthquakes That are judgements( Devine Corrections) the only thing that is left
is Faith in God----Or more Hatred depending on which side you are on,no more inBetween,Either Saved or Lost.

I don't think religion will be dropped because the majority of people need something to believe in. I do think that there will become one world religion. That has been predicted.
I think there will be a big change in knowledge or some great awakening to unit people under one religion, one God.

I believe that people will drop the religions they follow...not because of the things you suggested...but, because fundamentalists have tarnished religions so much.

Religion is not seen as a thing of Godly love...it seen as a thing of judgemental rebuke.

Because of this fewer people will be involved in organized religion, and many will leave the religions for personal relationships with God.

Hopefully it will occur, but unfortunately atheism is currently looked down upon in at least American society. Most people would rather just say "god" a few times and not have to deal with evangelical Christians. Also, a lot of people would rather not think about it, or are just afraid that there might not be anything in charge and they have to take care of themselves.

Well, there is proof in the christian faith, but you have to believe before you receive the proof; a paradox.

Actually there will be a massive world revival before the end comes (antichrist etc), in which great signs and wonders wil be done in Christ's name; so there will plenty of proof to the remnant who want to believe.

It sounds like you just read the Book of Revelation of the New Testament, although it will be because of a perceived lack of proof.
