Peanut butter is actually good for you. It is full of protein and iron. If you like them but watching your weight, try eating them on low fat, low carb bread with just a tiny bit of jelly. They also make sugar free jelly which has splenda in it but taste like normal jelly. Drink alot of water with it and add a lemon wedge to the water for extra vitamin C and taste:)) Enjoy!!

you need to be watching overall calories. i am constantly watching what i eat and i eat one peanut butter jelly sandwich a week. BUT i use jif reduced fat peanut butter, sugar free jelly and whole wheat bread and i don't over stuff it with the pb&j. that with a glass of skim milk is filling and not "fatty" however if you use super fat peanut butter and regular jelly with regular bread and put a lot of it on the bread and drink whole milk... it's going to be fatter for you.

3500 calories is a pound. if you can cut that much from your diet a week (500 calories a day) you can lose a pound a week just by cutting back. if you add in moderate exercise you can get into shape in no time!

VERY fattening especially if eaten on enriched flour white bread!! Peanut butter itself is ok as long as u have it in SMALL amounts. Jelly is extremely fattening. Try substituting with apple butter, or some sort of 100% Fruit preserves. They are just as good. And eat the sandwich on 100% whole grain wheat bread and that will cut some of the calories too.

The peanut butter has lots of carbs and fat. The jelly is still okay, but not considered exactly as a healthy choice. All in all, pb and j is a carbfest with the bread and peanut butter and all.

depends, if the jelly has a lot of sugar then there are gonna be more carbs that will make you gain weight. peanut butter is usually not a bad thing but it is if it is loaded with sugar and fat. try to stick with low sugar jellies and jams, and natural peanut butter. as for the bread try wheat bread, it's better for you and full of fiber

2 slices of Wonder 100% Whole Wheat Bread, 2 Tablespoons Peter Pan Peanut Butter Creamy and 2 Tablespoons of Smuckers Grape Jelly equates to 470 calories, 14g fat and 74carbs. You determine what works for you...

Eat whatever u like but only when hungry and that too not more than three times a day. Take only plain water in between. Include plenty of uncooked fruits and vegetables in ur meals and take them preferably before cooked food.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This activates ur auto systems in the body and u get strong signals when u r hungry or when u have had enough.

Take light exercises and brisk walks preferably twice a day.

This will result in ur achieving desirable weight effortless in a reasonable period.

Try almond butter instead of PB, and a "real fruit" or "all fruit" spread that is sweetened with fruit juice and not sugar. All things in moderation, a PB&J (or AB&J) on occasion isn't too bad, and there so YUMMY!!

Yes they are ! Try lean meat and salad as sandwich fillings instead.
