remove the throttle body and spray a rag with carb cleaner and wipe the throttle body out. DO NOT spray the carb cleaner directly into the throttle body. it can run down the throttle plate shaft and ruin the electronics.

B.G. chemical has a product available that is not as volatile as regular carb cleaner but the above answerer is correct take it off the car and spray a rag and wipe the carbon out
