Obviously a tree is not a cross so this is another example of Christians trying to read into things and create prophecies that just aren't there. This is not a prophecy at all but rather a command for Jews. A true prophecy would have read like this "and the word of the lord came to me and said the Messiah shall be named Jesus and he will die on something called a cross in a year 30ad". Obviously the Bible is not divinely inspired.
"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us--for it is written, "Cursed be every one who hangs on a tree" Ga 3:13
Now according to Paul, absolutely anyone who hangs on a tree is cursed.
What does Moses say in the Bible;
"And if a man has committed a crime punishable by death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is accursed by God; De 21:22,23

Actually what he is saying is simply: prophecies only come true long after the event has occured and people can look back and point at something that works for all the conditions and say that is the prophecy. A true prophecy would state a date and time, hell even a year would work. That is how you can tell it is not going to occur because there is no date or time associated with it and we look back now and find the moment that fit the criteria.

OK , use you huge brain and find out when psalms was written , when you find out then read Psalms 22 then read the part in the new testament where Christ cries out " my God , my God , why has thou forsaken me"? Have you looked in the Strong's concordance to see what "cross" means, or "accursed" means , or "tree" for that matter? But I suppose it suits your agenda to use the terms as they are defined today. Your days are short. You would be better off in all ways to do nothing at all.

The Roman practice of crucifixion used several forms of crosses.
Some were two-part hewn beams.
Some were one hewn beam which was fastened to
a tree trunk.
Others are older trees trimmed and pruned into the shape of a cross.
In any and all cases, they are all made of wood, hence, the fulfillment of the scripture.

Actually, the tree is symbolic of a cross. Yes, Paul did say that everyone who died on a cross is cursed- of course! That's the whole point of Christ's death! He, the sinless Son of God, took the punishment for sin- death- for billions of humans from the beginning of time. The punishment of being hung on a cross was not even a Jewish tradition; rather, it was a Roman punishment that Christ received. It was the worst, most humiliating punishment that one could receive in those days, reserved for the worst criminals. The Jewish leaders dragged Jesus before Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor, for blasphemy because he said that he was the Son of God.
The whole point of Christ being hung was, again, to take the punishment for our sins. A hanged man is accursed by God. Christ loved us so much that He laid down his life of his own free will ( “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” ~John 10:17-18) and took our punishment, so that we would not have to be eternally separated from God by our sins. Jesus Christ took the punishment for me and for you, but each of us has a free will and we have to choose to accept this gift. I hope that God will open your eyes to His word and the incredible love that He has for YOU.
