I have had gum disease a couple of times. Each time my dentist tells me its as I smoke and apparently its really common in young women that smoke.
Book a dentist appointment... as every1 else has said. But in the meantime if your teeth are bleeding the best thing to do is to brush them at the spot that's bleeding until it stops. Approx 3-5 mins. If this doesn't work finish brushing the rest of them and use a flouride mouthwash. It has worked for me before. It normally stops after about 3 mins of brushing constantly.
DONT USE FLOSS UNTIL YOU SEE YOUR DENTIST.
This will only aggravate the bleeding gum. But if you have been using it and want to continue just be careful you dont cut the gum.
Ask your dentist if you have been brushing your teeth properly, don't be embarrassed he's well used to being asked.
Good luck

There is no cure for gum disease. You have to clean your teeth regularly and have dental check ups well. If you have plaque on your teeth the dentist can remove it by doing a scale and polish your teeth also. This should be done every 6 to 12 months.

once you have gum disease you always have it but you can do something to maintain it. brush 2-3 times a day and floss 2x a day. go to the dentist every six months to get your teeth cleaned and this should do the trick!

There is no cure. Only a dentist can control it or stop it's progression. There is nothing in the market that you can purchase to "cure" it. A dentist can give you a deep cleaning and prescribe a rinse. But only a dentist has the necessary tools also. Good luck!

First of all you should go to you're dentist or hygienist to have them scaled and polished, then you should be able to maintain it yourself. brush for two minutes twice a day and floss once a day. your dentist will be able to show you how to do this properly. Everyone knows we should brush our teeth twice a day, but you should be shown how to do it properly and what angle to hold the brush, not brushing properly could do more damage than good. Also you should use a fluoride mouthwash once a day. Hope this helps.

LENNI,
ONCE YOU HAVE GUM DISEASE OR PERIODONTITIS, YOU CAN NEVER JUST CURE IT. IT BECOMES NECESSARY FOR THE DENTIST/PERIODONTIST TO TREAT THE CONDITION. GUM DISEASE IS CYCLICAL. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN IT'S UNDER CONTROL AND ALSO TIME WHEN IT ACTS UP.
IF ORAL HYGIENE BECOMES A LIFESTYLE PRIORITY THEN IT MAY REMAIN DORMANT FOR MANY TEARS.

Regular trips to your dentist.
A good routine of brushing, flossing and mouth rinse and using your toothbrush to gently massage your gums.
