I've just started tanning and they started me at 3 minutes and now I'm at 5 minutes after about four sessions every other day. I'm just getting my base tan. you will probably want to slowly add minutes so you don't burn. ouch! ask the people at the tanning place and i use an accelerator that helps

Well...if this is your SECOND time going in a tanning booth, dont go anymore than 5-6 min. And stick with that for at least 3-4 sessions then up your time 3-4 min. GO SLOWLY. If you go too fast you will burn..and burn BADLY. ALSO, when using tanning lotion DONT SHOWER for AT LEAST an hour afterwards. It takes awhile for the lotion to work and by delaying as long as possible the color will appear quicker and last MUCH longer. I tanned for 4 years on and off and within 1 1/2 months I had a med. tan-didn't look fake at all. And make sure you pay special attention to your legs because they take longer to color. I would also suggest using SUN SCREEN on your cheeks, butt (it will STILL tan, just dont burn), elbows, and heels because they are pushing down on the tanning bed and will burn super easily...minus the cheeks, they will just burn. Again, if you put the lotion on (sunscreen) those parts will STILL tan, I promise you!!
Good luck and don't tan a lot, especially in the beginning!

We can't tell you exactly how long it would take. It depends on your individual skintone and how well you tan. For some it can take half an hour a day for a week, for others just ten minutes for a couple days, some can only do five minutes at a time, etc. It varies.

6 minutes is great for pores and skin that would not have already got a tan. After which you will ought to strengthen the minutes. you will then have the potential to stay in longer as quickly as your pores and skin starts off to tan. in case you reside too long in the mattress earlier each and every little thing. you will burn your pores and skin and then peel. pass sluggish earlier each and every little thing.
