I floss first always. The reason I do this is because I don't want food scraps and plaque getting into my clean mouth.

I floss before brushing so that when I get all of the food out of my teeth I can brush my teeth better and get them cleaner.

Before, the get stuff from between the teeth...then brush to get it totally removed (otherwise it just sticks in the mouth or other teeth).

What has this to do with R&S, I do not know.

I brush, then floss, then brush again (usually).

Haven't flossed in a while, though.

I don't floss but haven't had any tooth trouble. I just brush religiously!

After, to get what's still stuck in between (on those rare occasions when there is still something stuck in between) and to wipe off any plaque not removed by the circular brushing motions.
