Its sad to see, I see it quite often on Y!Answers. Very Rude and unaccepting people.

I never said I was Athiest, Or anything about Athiest.
My Point is as a christian you should not judge, yet so many do and they voice it well.

How terrible, If you need an example of Rude and judgemental, Please look at the replies I have received here.
Assuming I am something I am not, Assuming I am not a Christian just because I ask such a question, Acusing other "religions" or people with beliefs to be worse.
Sad

It is mere human frailty. People assume, people judge, people act the fool... I sometimes do this myself even though I believe everyone has the right to believe what they want. I don't like people judging what I believe in, especially Christians because they base their judgement on their religion and that their religion is right and mine is wrong. So I am guilty of acting out too.
I am sorry if I have offended anyone, but my religion is just as important as their's or lack there of!

A true Christian is not unaccepting or judgemental. Pseudo-Christians are the ones judging and hating. A true Christian is supposed to follow the teachings of Christ. Christ's lessons are about love and acceptance and forgiveness. He does not preach about hating and judging people that is the Old Testament that dwells on killing, retribution, judgement, and payback. I've noticed the ones on here spouting the most hate are those that don't believe in God or Christ. If they don't believe why does it make them so angry to encounter someone who does? And most of all why do they feel the need to answer a question in such a rude manner when it is clearly directed at believers not non-believers?

Please give an example of what you consider rude, unaccepting and judgmental.
Just because we don't agree with your belief in another way (or many ways) to God doesn't mean that we are rude. The fact is, if Christians are correct, then our warnings to stay away from other beliefs are quite loving. You don't agree that Christians are correct, so by the same token, you are judgmental against Christian beliefs.
Sorry, but the reality is that not all belief systems are created equal; they tend to be exclusive of other religion's truth claims by their very nature.

I agree with u! I'm a christian and it sickens me the way some people who calls themselves "chrisitans" yet are the most judgemental people on this earth! The way I believe, I think may religions have a universal truth to them. As one religious philosopher put it "religion is like a stained glass window. There is a universal truth (the sun) which shines in and creates many colors and shapes (different religions)" I thought its a nice way to put things!
Also with Marianne's comment: Didn't God say turn the other cheek??

I'm sick of these kinds of questions. Jesus never, ever implied that we should shut up when lies are being told. He was the first one to get in people's faces and tell them what they were doing wrong. I accept free will and know that not everyone will accept Jesus as The Christ, but that doesn't mean I have to accept, respect or listen to other people's beliefs. I actually have not spoken out against any faith except scientology and islam. That is because islam spreads lies about Christianity and Jesus, so I have to correct those lies and scientology is just a joke invented by a sci-fi writer.
God Bless.

I am not judgemental. Just because you are sharing something with someone does not mean you are judging. Have you ever made a suggestion to someone about trying a certain product, were you then judging them for what they usually buy? Same here, I am not judging you for not being christian, I simply would like to see you in heaven when I get there!! I have the gift of eternal salvation and I want everyone to experience the same gift. It would be selfish of me to never mention again to anyone. Then people like you would say we are trying to have it all to ourselves. Just another day, another attribute to pounce on, tomorrow it will be "Why are christians breathing?"

Atheists are by far the rudest group on yahoo answers, they appear to be very unaccepting, and offensive and have a false arrogance. Wow I judged, well guess what you judged by calling Christians judgemental.

I find that to be very true here in Texas. I am Jewish and I live in the Bible Belt. At least that is what I have been told it is called. You should see the looks I get when I ask at stores if they are going to get any Hanukkah stuff in. You would think I was talking about the devil.
