Protein is not suppose to be found during urine dipstick. Our kidneys does not allow proteins to pass through and be excreted in our urine. if this happens, there are some degree of damage to our kidneys. If this is your case, you should have your urea, creatinine and potassium checked. this will indicate if you have renal failure. Most renal failure patients have proteins in their urine.

yes it is, that is how my renal failure started and I've been on dialysis since 2003. I had nephrotic syndrome it's when your urning large amounts of protein into your urine if you suspect something speak with your doctor. if you have anymore questions you can email me!

Most long distance runner will spill protein on regular bases, in their urine.
Occasional spills need good monitoring and a check up is in order, a few test, adjustment in the diet can bring things under control.

there are many possiblities, if your healthy than it is your kidneys, not renal failure, you'd b in pain.might b an inflammation lyk Glomerulonephritis.
see a doctor.

yes if you have proetein in your urine then your kidneys are unable to filter it and return it back to the blood system. This is if you are having problems with your kidneys. if no problems with your kidneys then it can be many other things
