Unlike Muslim extremists, I accept the fact that not everybody in the world is going to agree with me. If the Pope, Rosie O'Donnell or Pat Robertson says something I disagree with, my response is "So what else is new?"

Just because he doesnt approve of it doesnt mean that we need to declare war against him. The only people that are affected by what he says are Catholics and any sub-religion of Catholicism. Everyone else believes other things that may say Abortion is okay. They dont care what the pope approves of.

Why would we want to do ANYTHING that Muslims did? They're not exactly much of a role model. If the Pope doesn't like abortion, then HE shouldn't have one.
Why do you care what the Pope says? Are you Catholic? I'm Jewish, and I certainly don't give a flip about what the guy says, especially these days. The church will be history in another century, and I say well-rid.

The Catholic Church has always condemned abortion. The Pope is just reiterating this same teaching. God bless him for it.
