My real photo was up on Answers for a short time. I ended up with a Christian and his girlfriend stalking me for many months.
My real photo is up on my 360. I have nothing to hide... I just don't appreciate the harassment and stalking that comes with this site.

As you point out, it might be a photo of someone else. But if I used my own photo for my avatar, people would think I was nothing but a fat old witch! LOL
Actually, I like the idea that the avatar shows who I am on the INSIDE, not the outside. And mine does: I am a priestess of the Goddess of Liberty.

I'd be better off if I used a yahoo avatar. Look at my photo. My helmet doesn't even fit on my head!

You mean actually having to see a face and not a cartoon? Lots of different kind of judging would be going on, several surprises, and maybe a little more compassion from some but I'm not holding my breathe.

No. Everybody's avatar would just be a closeup of a body part ... usually an eye.

Too much risk involved. Better the avatar way.

Probably more interesting.
I was thinking about that earlier. Debating if I should use my real photo for a chance.
