Several Muslims I know spend several hours a day studying their religion so the fact that most are well versed in the Koran is not amazing at all. What does amaze me is that any religion in todays world holds that much sway over its followers. In many places in North America for example religion is declining.

Thats the reason it cant be abridged!It is in the hearts of millions of Muslims so no one can change a word.Quran is the only book that is still in its original form and will always remain that way.
Those who dont believe in it,interpret it the wrong way.

It's just that I keep wondering when the so called 'peaceful Muslims' will be able to control those Muslims who aren't? There seems to be no end to those Muslims who kill people. Where are they coming from? Why don't the peaceful Muslims jihad against the violent ones?
Doesn't it matter to them?

i think that it's a person's choice and the qur'an has difficult words so it is a great thing to be able to memories it ,but i wouldn't do it!!! i think there are more things to do for god...
