Who's phone number is this [phone]??

Question

I have been called a good number of times from a private number asking me to call [phone] for important business information. It sounded too shady to me, but I decided to call. Once I called they asked me for my phone number and name. Once I gave it to them they said that some one listed me as a relative, but my name did not match what they had on file and that they were going to remove me from the data base. When I asked what company was the phone operator calling from, he just told me once again that I was not the person he was looking for but did not tell me any details about the company. Does anyone know what company is this? It just looks to shady to me and I'm affraid I'm involved in some sort of scam where they call random numbers to see who calls back. I put the number in google, but I found nothing. Please help!!!!

If the number is published, you can generally find it on a "reverse phone number lookup" like the one at Switchboard.Com.

You type in the number and it'll give you any info about that number that it has.

I did a reverse phone number search. It may be unlisted because it didn't give me a name. But I know the number orginates in CANOGA PARK, CA. Businesses you can normally find very easily.

Hey, that's the # for a vancouver restaurant I know ! It's in Canada, though, so if you're Canadian, that's probably it.
