Managed care has ruined the experience of being a doctor. And I predict that there will be an excess number of dentists in the future, so I don't think that's a great way to go, either.

Become a dentist. Way more cash patients. You'll have to deal with less insurance red tape. Also the procudural requirements implemented by dental carriers is less strict than medical carriers.
