The looks on the faces of the smug, arrogant and rude Christian bashers when the Day of Judgement comes? Will you point at them, stick out your tongue (I know that's not very Christian but it would be tempting) and say "I told you so!?!

To those who are more civilized in your critiques, this is not directed at you.

Let me clear the air here, this question was a tongue in cheek attempt at illiciting the kind of vile responses usually levelled at people of faith. In no way does it reflect my true beliefs as a Christian. Should that day come, I will be saddened for those who exerted so much energy and anger at God, whatever their reason. I just wanted to get people to understand how it immature and unecessary it is to 'attack' each other in this forum. It has been my experience that diplomacy, tolerance and respect for people with differing views is sorely lacking here in Y/A.
Peace to All!

No, there will be only tears and the last of all sorrows on this day. The reality of the White Throne Judgement of God where those to stand in this judgement will only be condemned without Christ being there. They will have no Lawyer present. Their sentence will be swift and without mercy. They will not be able to say a word for their defense as they are lead to the Lake of Fire. Christ died to save them from this judgement but they shook their fists and mocked just as they did when He hung on the cross and yet Jesus said, "Father, FORGIVE THEM for they know not what they are doing!" Do you think God answered the cry of His son? Yes, He has forgiven mankind but mankind has refused to receive his forgiveness only to continue in their rebellion which is in the hatred of Almighty God....

I think it is quite humorous how you *loving christians* feel so smug and arrogant when speaking of judgment day...I would imagine that you are just gleefully anticipating such a moment...*IF* there is such a day I have a feeling when YOUR turn comes at the so-called book of life you might have some explaining to do....

Phil.....God's word says that He takes no delight in the destruction of the wicked. Saying things like this is a terrible reflection on Christians in general. Please think carefully before you ever, ever ask anything like this again. Gloating is a sign of a person with little compassion and lots of pride.

I'm just looking forward to the day when sickness, death, morning, outcry, and pain will be done away with. All others will be dealt with by God and Jesus.

You will be dead and waiting in rows just like the other christians who believed. The rest of us will continue our journey and possibly reincarnate again. I hope you don't wait to long before you wise up and get out of that line going nowhere fast.

Wow. Since you think they're headed for eternal torment, I can't imagine feeling good about that in ANY way.
No matter how much I dislike someone, I wouldn't cheer them on as they walked into the World Trade Center on 9/11 - knowing their fate. It's like being glad that someone you didn't like was killed in the holocaust.
No, no, NO!

That's the only problem I have with being an Atheist, is that likewise, after your dead and in the ground I can't roll over in my grave and and flip you the bird. Give me a break. "JUDGEMENT DAY." "HOLY GOD." "HELL FIRE AND BRIMSTONE." Quit with the spooky language would ya, it's not 1607, it's 2007. OK.

People have been saying "It's Judgement Day OMG" for thousands of years and it hasn't come yet, nor can you offer me tangible and irrefutable proof of it's coming, so what of that?
Look out, you may become just what you hate. Acting a little smug aren't we?
