When I was a kid my nan always used to bring me a bottle of it when I was ill, but they didn't have those sorts of health warnings on them in those days! Can't stand the stuff now, ill or not!!

Well, strangely, I didn't do it for years, then one day I was really vomiting and ill with a migraine, and my dad bought me some lucozade and it seemed to make me feel ten times better.

That could have also been because it was the first thing my dad has bought me since I was about ten though (27 now!).

when i was little whenever i was ill my mum used to bring me home a bottle of lucozade and a tin of tomato soup to make me feel a bit better and it always did.
so lucozade reminds me of my mum when im ill and it makes me feel better

its probably been going on for YEARS hence why lucozade have started stating this on their bottles as people had this mis-conception x

I've never fancied it at all. It's just Glucose and fizzy sugar water. I can think of far nicer things to eat after a good vomit.

I was given it as a child to make me better, now i just think it gives you a sugar rush because of it's glucose content.

It's a comfort thing. My mum used to give it to me, I therefore associate it with feeling safe and loved!
