I've heard from some people that when you ride to much a bike, the movement of the legs against the testicles can cause you to not been able to reproduce? Do you think this is true or bogus? Where can I find out?

It's true, but not for the reason you're thinking.

For men, it's because we get obsessed with the bike. We spend too much time riding and talking about it, all our friends are bikers, and women are basically driven away with the one-track conversation. Essentially, men who ride too much can't have kids because we can't keep woman around long enough to have sex with.
There are cases where excessive riding has caused long-term penile numbness resulting in the inability attain an erection, but this rare, and heals itself after some time off the bike. Only an idiot would keep riding day after day when he couldn't feel his pecker anymore. It has nothing to do with jostling your boys.

For women, the story is slightly different. Physiologically, over training can cause the menstrual cycle to become interrupted. This means the hormones necessary for reproduction may not be released. Women like this have no problem getting male cyclists to mate with. But, this has nothing to do with bike riding specifically, and is more common in elite/pro female runners.

Hey,

not true. like others have said - fertility is ok, but you will have trouble raising the mast. There is nothing worse than riding and constantly having to adjust the aggots to wake them up and stay comfortable.

If you are having problems with the boys, get your bike fitted. i had trouble with the old fella nodding off and ended up changing saddles. i now run a fizik arione and haven't had any problems.

Look after your nads!!

Bogus. There have always been rumors about impotence, sterility, etc. but nothing has ever been proven. I ride 15000+ miles per year and have never had any trouble with the plumbing.

that's just a myth
however, numbness caused by an improperly set up bike or seat can lead to impotence, but not to sterility

BS.

I rode a bicycle a lot, in my young days. I still had to get a vasectomy, in order to never have kids.

It's a myth. Riding has no affect on fertility.
