I have a lot of hair on my arms and I hate it. A lot of people say shave it off but others say once i shave it off it grows back like darker? Is this true?

No, it is not true. The reason people think it is darker (or thicker) is because when hair grows back in, while it is short it seems harder, and stands straighter. Think of a straw. If you put a finger at each tip of a full length drinking straw and push, the straw bends. If you cut the straw to the length of half an inch and try, you are more likely to cut your fingers on the straw than it is to bend. But, I shave my arm hair, and it is no more noticable than it was before until it has grown back to it's full length. Even then, it is the same as it was before it was shaved.

I have been shaving my arms for about 3 years now. I only have to shave em about once a week and the hair is actually lighter when it grows back. And it feels so good the day you shave them I will continue to keep my arms shaved forever I love it.

YES!!! It is 100% true that if u shave your arm hair it WILL grow back darker. Well...that's what happens tp our legs when we shave them! The hair grows back darker! You should really try hair lightening cream! It is excellent. It lightens your hair on ur arms, and makes it almost un-noticible!

It is true it grows back darker and thicker and its the same for your legs i would say Veet or Nair it doesn't burn like it does on legs and 3 minutes for a smoother arm pit i use both and they work great sure it might smell but beauty requires pain

Do you really want arm stubble? Don't shave it. Wax it off if you feel the need to get rid of it.
